Neighbors is a multiplayer game where players set traps and defend their house from the neighbors. During the development of the game, I worked on creating several visual effects to enhance gameplay feedback and player interactions. These VFX include effects for abilities, traps, hits, and character interactions. The following clips showcase some of the VFX I created for the game.
This is the the caracter Cookies VFX when she does her ability when she places a tunnel.

The trail around her acts as a shield. When you get close, a bird spawns and starts attacking you.
The second effect shows when the birds hit the player.
The third effect shows the effect that plays when the bird dies.
This VFX is triggered when Cookie uses her lockpick to disable a bear trap.
This VFX shows the effect when placing a spring trap. When the trap is deployed, a visual effect appears to indicate that it has been placed and is active.
This is a death VFX for the robots in the Robot Invasion mode.
